Job Qualifications

  • Previous experience as a Pitmaster, Meat Cutter, Line Cook, Expediter, Prep Cook, or Fry/Salad Chef
  • Knowledge and proficiency in barbecue smoking techniques
  • Ability to manage food quality and safety standards
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Effective teamwork and communication skills
  • Positive attitude with ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Job Duties

  • Manage pit and meat operations to ensure high quality smoked meats
  • Monitor food quality and ensure adherence to safety and sanitation procedures
  • Use smokers proficiently according to established processes and procedures
  • Manage inventory and food waste in the pit and meat area
  • Execute brand standards through consistent food quality
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization while working
  • Collaborate with team members to support overall kitchen operations
