- Previous experience as a Pitmaster, Meat Cutter, Line Cook, Expediter, Prep Cook, or Fry/Salad Chef
- Knowledge and proficiency in barbecue smoking techniques
- Ability to manage food quality and safety standards
- Strong organizational skills
- Effective teamwork and communication skills
- Positive attitude with ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Job Duties
- Manage pit and meat operations to ensure high quality smoked meats
- Monitor food quality and ensure adherence to safety and sanitation procedures
- Use smokers proficiently according to established processes and procedures
- Manage inventory and food waste in the pit and meat area
- Execute brand standards through consistent food quality
- Maintain cleanliness and organization while working
- Collaborate with team members to support overall kitchen operations
