Job Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Pitmaster, Meat Cutter, Line Cook, Expediter, Prep Cook, or Fry/Salad Chef
- knowledge of smoking techniques and meat cutting
- strong understanding of food safety and sanitation requirements
- ability to operate and maintain smokers and related equipment
- excellent attention to detail and quality control
- positive attitude and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- good communication and teamwork skills
Job Duties
- Execute pit and meat operations to ensure high-quality smoked meat production
- monitor and maintain food quality standards consistently
- operate smokers proficiently following established procedures
- adhere to safety and sanitation practices rigorously
- manage inventory and minimize food waste in the pit/meat area
- support teamwork by maintaining positive communication with fellow team members
- maintain a clean and organized work environment
