Job Requirements

  • Can physically stand/walk 100 percent of shift
  • Can reach, bend, stoop
  • Can immerse hands in water frequently, diluted with chemical solutions
  • Ability to speak, read and write English
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs several times per shift, lift these heavy loads to high shelves, coolers, freezers
  • Work in damp, high temperature environment indoors and minimally outdoors
  • Work safely with hot plates, pots, pans
  • Work safely with sharp knives and utensils
  • Support fellow employees as needed
  • Complete and pass food safety certification program, in compliance with Flanigan's and Florida statutes

  • Completion and passing of food safety certification program in compliance with Flanigan's and Florida statutes

Job Duties

  • Follow all company safety and sanitation policies and procedural training
  • Wash and provide clean and sanitized plateware, glassware, silverware, pots, pans, kitchen utensils using Flanigan's sanitation policies
  • Clean and sanitize throughout shift
  • Maintain kitchen area cleanliness including sweeping, mopping, removing debris from floor
  • Perform assigned prep work, opening/closing duties, beautification duties
  • Prepare and maintain dish machine at opening, during business hours, and at closing
