Job Requirements
- Must be authorized to live and work in the United States
- High school diploma or state issued equivalent required
- Able to participate in CAE's DOT Anti-Drug and Alcohol testing program
- Basic computer proficiency including Microsoft Office and internet-based programs
- Able to sit for 4-6 hours at a time with limited breaks
- Able to stand for up to 10 hours with limited breaks
- Physical dexterity for hand/eye coordination and fine motor skills
- Relocation assistance available if local candidates are not found
- Commitment to customer service and professionalism
- Previous teaching or training experience preferred
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or state issued equivalent required
- Associate degree or college degree preferred
- 2-5 years of relevant job experience
- Previous experience teaching or training others preferred
- Proven customer service orientation
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Basic computer proficiency including Microsoft Office and internet-based programs
- Holds or has held a professional pilot license
- Existing instructor qualification or type rating preferred
- FAR Part 135 experience preferred
- Possess an unrestricted Airline Transport Pilot certificate and minimum one unrestricted PIC type rating preferred
- Authorized to live and work in the United States
Job Duties
- Provide simulator and classroom instruction on assigned aircraft types for licenses, type ratings, internal training, certificates, and pilot qualifications
- Conduct thorough pre and post flight simulator briefings in accordance with CAE standards
- Complete required administrative duties including training records, recommending remedial training, and tracking instructional qualifications
- Act as a subject matter expert in the development of curricula and courseware when necessary
- Qualify as a Training Center Evaluator and customer contract check airman after 1.5 years per business needs
- Participate in continuous professional development and compliance with regulatory and customer standards
- Tailor training sessions to meet diverse customer needs and maintain accurate records
