Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering
  • 2+ years of experience in a process equipment or manufacturing environment
  • Ability to adhere to safety, quality, and environmental protocols
  • Strong attention to detail and accurate recordkeeping
  • Ability to conduct basic analytical testing such as pH and viscosity
  • Capability to maintain clean and organized work areas
  • Willingness to perform additional duties as assigned

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering
  • 2+ years of experience in a process equipment or manufacturing environment
  • Recent graduates with relevant internship experience or a scientific degree will be considered

Job Duties

  • Adhere to all established company policies and practices including quality, environmental, safety, and health procedures
  • Set up equipment and instruments and stage raw materials and supplies to facilitate smooth batching and analysis of pilot formulations
  • Maintain accurate recordkeeping for pre-weigh batches and any necessary adjustment materials
  • Manage the storage and organization of raw materials and components including specialized storage requirements
  • Label and prepare excess raw materials and bulk for destruction and removal in accordance with established quality and environmental guidelines
  • Perform thorough cleaning and sanitization of equipment ensuring the washroom remains organized and clean
  • Conduct essential analytical testing such as pH, viscosity, and specific gravity as required for pilot batches
  • Undertake additional duties as instructed by management to meet the evolving demands of the business
