Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering
- 2+ years of experience in a process equipment or manufacturing environment
- Ability to adhere to safety, quality, and environmental protocols
- Strong attention to detail and accurate recordkeeping
- Ability to conduct basic analytical testing such as pH and viscosity
- Capability to maintain clean and organized work areas
- Willingness to perform additional duties as assigned
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering
- 2+ years of experience in a process equipment or manufacturing environment
- Recent graduates with relevant internship experience or a scientific degree will be considered
Job Duties
- Adhere to all established company policies and practices including quality, environmental, safety, and health procedures
- Set up equipment and instruments and stage raw materials and supplies to facilitate smooth batching and analysis of pilot formulations
- Maintain accurate recordkeeping for pre-weigh batches and any necessary adjustment materials
- Manage the storage and organization of raw materials and components including specialized storage requirements
- Label and prepare excess raw materials and bulk for destruction and removal in accordance with established quality and environmental guidelines
- Perform thorough cleaning and sanitization of equipment ensuring the washroom remains organized and clean
- Conduct essential analytical testing such as pH, viscosity, and specific gravity as required for pilot batches
- Undertake additional duties as instructed by management to meet the evolving demands of the business
