Job Requirements

  • Gulfstream G650 type rating required
  • First class medical required
  • Applicable FAA Part 91 and/or FAA Part 135 requirements for aircraft type assigned
  • ATP certificate required and current
  • Must pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
  • Reside within a 2 hour drivable commuting distance to KCMA
  • Experience to safely operate assigned aircraft in compliance with company specifications
  • Ability to prioritize and organize workflow
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Able to take initiative and execute tasks timely
  • Strong teamwork acumen
  • Ability to work under extreme pressure

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum experience required to safely operate the assigned Gulfstream G650 ER
  • Type rating for Gulfstream G650
  • First class medical certification
  • ATP certificate with current flight requirements
  • Familiarity with FAA Part 91 and Part 135 regulations
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Proven ability to manage crew schedules and performance
  • Experience with regulatory compliance and aircraft maintenance coordination
  • Ability to liaise effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Strong customer relations and problem-solving capabilities
  • Proficiency in reviewing financial reports and expense approvals

Job Duties

  • Act as Pilot in Command or Second in Command as designated
  • Ensure compliance with flight and maintenance schedules and other directives governing the aircraft's operation
  • Ensure crew compliance with flight and duty times limitations
  • Ensure the accomplishment of pre-flight/post-flight duties and inspections
  • Coordinate with DOM and ACM to ensure aircraft cleanliness
  • Manage aircraft inventory to meet owner or user requirements
  • Monitor crew members' performance and report to Assistant Chief Pilot
  • Complete and approve crew expense reports
  • Review monthly billing summaries and report discrepancies
  • Coordinate and manage crewmember's days off and vacation requests
  • Liaison with ACP and Director of Training
  • Conduct monthly review of currency and training requirements
  • Conduct annual aircraft black book audits
  • Ensure compliance with fleet requirements
  • Maintain required regulatory aircraft authorizations
  • Be aware of scheduled/unscheduled maintenance events
  • Assist in resolution and communication of mechanical AOG events
  • Review monthly work orders invoices
  • Communicate with Maintenance Controller or DOM
  • Ensure trip requests or changes are communicated
  • Assist in operational data collection for special projects
  • Facilitate good working relationships within Flight Department
  • Cultivate relationships with external stakeholders
  • Provide constructive feedback to improve processes
  • Manage aircraft owner's overall experience
  • Update Scheduling Specialist on schedule changes
  • Coordinate flight department meetings
  • Participate in interview process for flight personnel
  • Communicate operational, personnel, and administrative issues
  • Recommend additional training for flight department members
