Job Requirements
- Must be BBD-700 type rated
- Must reside within a 2 hour drivable distance to KVNY or be willing to relocate
- Full-time availability
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
- Valid first class medical certificate
- ATP certificate
- Compliance with FAA Part 91 and/or Part 135 requirements for assigned aircraft
- Minimum experience to operate assigned aircraft safely
- Ability to work collaboratively and under pressure
- Strong organizational skills
Job Qualifications
- Bombardier BBD-700 type rating
- First class medical certificate
- ATP certificate
- Experience meeting FAA Part 91 and/or Part 135 requirements
- Ability to safely operate assigned aircraft
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Demonstrated analytical and critical thinking skills
- Exceptional interpersonal skills
Job Duties
- Act as pilot in command or second in command as designated
- Ensure compliance with flight and maintenance schedules and directives governing aircraft operation
- Ensure crew compliance with flight and duty time limitations
- Accomplish pre-flight and post-flight duties and inspections according to aircraft flight manual
- Coordinate aircraft cleaning and inventory management
- Monitor crew performance and communicate with assistant chief pilot for reviews
- Complete and approve crew expense reports
- Review monthly billing summaries and report discrepancies
- Manage crew member schedules including days off and vacation requests
- Liaise with assistant chief pilot and director of training
- Conduct monthly reviews of currency and upcoming training requirements
- Perform annual aircraft black book audits
- Maintain compliance with fleet and regulatory requirements
- Be aware of and assist in scheduled and unscheduled maintenance
- Review work orders and coordinate with maintenance personnel
- Communicate trip-related requests or changes
- Support good working relationships within the flight department
- Provide constructive feedback and participate in flight department personnel selection
- Coordinate flight department meetings and activities
- Make training recommendations for crew members
