Job Requirements

  • Must be BBD-700 type rated
  • Must reside within a 2 hour drivable distance to KVNY or be willing to relocate
  • Full-time availability
  • Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
  • Valid first class medical certificate
  • ATP certificate
  • Compliance with FAA Part 91 and/or Part 135 requirements for assigned aircraft
  • Minimum experience to operate assigned aircraft safely
  • Ability to work collaboratively and under pressure
  • Strong organizational skills

Job Qualifications

  • Bombardier BBD-700 type rating
  • First class medical certificate
  • ATP certificate
  • Experience meeting FAA Part 91 and/or Part 135 requirements
  • Ability to safely operate assigned aircraft
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Demonstrated analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills

Job Duties

  • Act as pilot in command or second in command as designated
  • Ensure compliance with flight and maintenance schedules and directives governing aircraft operation
  • Ensure crew compliance with flight and duty time limitations
  • Accomplish pre-flight and post-flight duties and inspections according to aircraft flight manual
  • Coordinate aircraft cleaning and inventory management
  • Monitor crew performance and communicate with assistant chief pilot for reviews
  • Complete and approve crew expense reports
  • Review monthly billing summaries and report discrepancies
  • Manage crew member schedules including days off and vacation requests
  • Liaise with assistant chief pilot and director of training
  • Conduct monthly reviews of currency and upcoming training requirements
  • Perform annual aircraft black book audits
  • Maintain compliance with fleet and regulatory requirements
  • Be aware of and assist in scheduled and unscheduled maintenance
  • Review work orders and coordinate with maintenance personnel
  • Communicate trip-related requests or changes
  • Support good working relationships within the flight department
  • Provide constructive feedback and participate in flight department personnel selection
  • Coordinate flight department meetings and activities
  • Make training recommendations for crew members
