Job Requirements
- Must reside within a 2 hour drivable commuting distance to KVNY or willing to relocate
- must pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
- FAA ATP certificate
- Gulfstream G550 or G650 type rating
- current first class medical
- compliance with FAA Part 91 and/or Part 135 operational specifications
- minimum experience operating assigned aircraft safely

- ATP certificate required
- current first class medical certificate
- minimum experience required to safely operate the assigned aircraft

- exceptional pilot skills consistent with operational requirements
Job Duties
- Act as pilot in command or second in command as designated
- ensure compliance with flight and maintenance schedules and other directives governing the aircraft's operation
- ensure crew compliance with flight and duty times limitations
- ensure the accomplishment of pre-flight and post-flight duties and inspections in accordance with the aircraft flight manual
- coordinate with director of maintenance and account manager to ensure aircraft cleanliness
- manage aircraft inventory to meet owner or user requirements
- monitor crew members' performance and communicate to assistant chief pilot
- complete and approve crew expense reports
- review monthly billing summaries and report discrepancies
- coordinate/manage crewmember's days off and vacation requests
- liaise with assistant chief pilot and director of training
- conduct monthly review of currency and upcoming training/evaluation requirements
- conduct annual aircraft black book audits
- ensure compliance with fleet requirements and maintain required regulatory operational authorizations
- be aware of scheduled/unscheduled maintenance events
- assist in resolving mechanical AOG events
- review monthly work orders invoices
- coordinate maintenance-related items and scheduling
- ensure trip related requests or changes are communicated to charter department and chief pilot's office
- assist in gathering operational data for special projects
- mediate and facilitate good working relationships within flight department
- cultivate and maintain good working relationships with external stakeholders
- perpetuate company culture
- provide constructive feedback to increase process efficiency
- update scheduling specialist regarding aircraft schedule changes
- coordinate regular flight department meetings
- participate in the interview and selection of flight department personnel
- communicate for input and approval on operational, personnel and administrative issues
- recommend additional training for flight department members
