Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Experience as qualified receiver air-to-air refueling pilot flight instructor or aircrew training system instructor within five years
- Minimum 200 flying hours in U.S. Air Force or Allied Nation receiver aircraft or simulator with at least 50% in aircraft
- Ability to obtain or hold SECRET clearance
- Excellent communication skills
- Proficiency with computer applications
- Physical ability to lift up to 20 pounds occasionally
- Morally and ethically influence others
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Experience as qualified receiver air-to-air refueling pilot flight instructor or aircrew training system instructor within five years
- Minimum 200 flying hours in U.S. Air Force or Allied Nation receiver aircraft or simulator with at least 50% in aircraft
- Tanker AAR pilot instructor experience preferred
- Type rating in B-767 preferred
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to interface with students and provide remediation
- Basic computer skills with word processing, spreadsheets, and databases
- Ability to obtain or hold SECRET clearance
Job Duties
- Conduct initial, upgrade, requalification, and refresher training using simulators and training devices
- Conduct ground-based training for aircrew in tanker and receiver operating procedures
- Conduct initial and recurring maintenance personnel training for engine run courses
- Perform briefings, debriefings, and counseling with aircrew and maintenance personnel
- Extract and analyze student data for performance assessment
- Serve as KC-46 pilot subject matter expert
- Maintain knowledge of KC-46 systems and instructional principles
