Job Requirements
- bachelor’s degree or four years combination of education and experience
- experience as qualified receiver air-to-air refueling pilot flight instructor or receiver aircrew training system instructor within last 5 years
- minimum of 200 flying hours in USAF or allied nation receiver aircraft or equivalent simulator with at least 50 percent in aircraft
- ability to obtain or possess a secret clearance
- excellent communication skills
- basic computer proficiency
- successful completion of annual standardization evaluation
- morally and ethically influence others to achieve program goals
Job Qualifications
- bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- experience as qualified receiver air-to-air refueling pilot flight instructor or aircrew training system instructor within 5 years
- minimum 200 flying hours in USAF or allied nation receiver aircraft or equivalent simulator with 50 percent in actual aircraft
- tank AAR pilot instructor experience preferred
- type rating in B-767 preferred
- excellent written and verbal communication skills
- ability to interface with students and provide remediation
- basic knowledge of computers and software applications
- ability to obtain or possess a secret clearance
- successful completion of annual internal standardization evaluation
Job Duties
- conduct initial, upgrade, requalification, and refresher training using simulator devices such as WST and KC-46 aircraft
- conduct ground-based training for aircrew in tanker and receiver operating procedures
- provide initial and recurring engine run training for maintenance personnel
- conduct briefings, debriefings, and counseling to support student proficiency
- analyze student data and prepare for review sessions
- serve as KC-46 pilot subject matter expert for students and personnel
- maintain knowledge and application of instructional principles, provide inputs for courseware correction and training policy updates
