Job Requirements
- Previously qualified as a C-5 AMP or C-5M Aircraft Commander
- Flight experience with 1,000 C-5 flight hours or 500 C-5 flight hours and 1,200 total flight hours in mobility aircraft
- Graduate of a formal instructor pilot course
- Minimum of 200 C-5 Instructor Pilot hours
- Associates degree or higher from a regionally accredited institution
- Fluent in spoken and written English
- Ability to obtain and maintain required Secret security clearance
- Knowledge of C-5 operations, systems, instruction, or maintenance as applicable
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Conduct academic and simulator instruction for pilot initial, transition, requalification, and continuation training
- Operate simulator instructor stations, introduce malfunctions, and manage training profiles and scenarios
- Evaluate student performance, provide detailed debriefs, and complete required training records and documentation
- Support flight evaluations, remedial training, and instructor standardization activities
- Assist with courseware review, safety initiatives, and updates to training materials and procedures
- Perform other duties as assigned
