Job Requirements

  • FAA Airline Transport Pilot certificate
  • 4-6 years of piloting experience
  • Type rating for EMB 145
  • Ability to perform essential job functions
  • Minimum 3500 total flight hours
  • At least 1500 multi-engine land hours
  • Minimum 2000 Pilot in Command hours
  • Minimum 500 Pilot in Command MEL hours
  • At least 300 instrument flight hours
  • Minimum 500 jet flight hours
  • Prior corporate/business aviation experience preferred

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum 4-6 years of experience in piloting
  • Prior corporate or business aviation experience preferred
  • FAA type rating on the Embraer 145 required
  • Ability to perform essential functions of the position
  • Experience includes a minimum of 3500 total flight hours
  • At least 1500 hours in multi-engine land (MEL) aircraft
  • Minimum 2000 hours as Pilot in Command
  • At least 500 hours as Pilot in Command on MEL
  • Minimum 300 hours of instrument flight time
  • Minimum 500 hours of jet flight time

Job Duties

  • Ensure crewing and trip assignments comply with company and regulatory requirements
  • Complete flight planning, performance, and weight and balance tasks for each assignment
  • Lead required briefings using the Threats, Plans, and Considerations (TPC) methodology to mitigate operational risks
  • Comply with company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and coordinate with company personnel as necessary
  • Act as the Grounds Security and In-Flight Security Coordinator as defined by company policy
  • Complete all aircraft pre-flight tasks including checking maintenance status to ensure mission capability
  • Record all aircraft discrepancies in accordance with SOPs
  • Ensure all ground servicing activities such as fueling, oil, and oxygen are monitored and accomplished per SOPs
  • Deliver passenger briefings compliant with company policy and regulations
  • Provide exceptional customer service accommodating special passenger needs
  • Utilize Crew Resource Management (CRM) and Threat and Error Management (TEM) to communicate effectively with crew and support personnel during normal, abnormal, and emergency operations
  • Provide quality service to owners and passengers while identifying opportunities to enhance the service experience
  • Investigate and resolve service deviations
  • Collaborate with crew members and EJM internal partners to provide a consistent service experience
  • Resolve conflicts and challenges appropriately
  • Maintain regulatory and company-required training and recency of experience
  • Comply with company Safety Management System (SMS) program and report safety concerns as appropriate
