Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • valid commercial pilot license
  • minimum 1500 hours flight time
  • current medical certificate
  • familiarity with FAA regulations
  • strong situational awareness
  • ability to pass background and security checks
  • effective team collaboration
  • physical fitness to meet flight duty requirements
  • availability for travel and irregular work hours

Job Qualifications

  • Valid commercial pilot license
  • Instrument Rating
  • Part 91 and Part 135 operational knowledge
  • demonstrated safety-focused flying experience
  • excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • experience with executive or corporate flight operations
  • proficiency in aircraft weight/balance calculation and flight planning
  • leadership skills in managing flight crew
  • ability to work under pressure and make decisive safety decisions

Job Duties

  • Check weather and applicable Notice to Airmen (NOTAMs)
  • determine aircraft weight and balance and fuel, oil, oxygen requirements
  • make final decision on aircraft safety
  • consult with departments to resolve maintenance and passenger issues
  • complete pre-flight aircraft inspection
  • conduct pre-flight planning and briefing for pilots
  • ensure validity of licenses, medical certificates, passports, visas
  • ensure Part 91 compliant passenger briefing
  • assume authority for safe operation and crewmember management
  • operate aircraft following procedures and limitations
  • arrange in-flight catering and verify itinerary times
  • complete post-flight duties including briefings, documentation, cabin restocking
  • notify maintenance of defects and report itinerary deviations
  • direct crewmember activities to ensure safety and effectiveness
  • fly as Second-in-Command as required
