Job Requirements
- Must possess active and current FAA Dispatcher License
- Minimum of five years of aircraft operations experience

Job Qualifications
- Must possess active and current FAA Dispatcher License, which includes successful passing of both written and practical tests administered by the FAA
- Five years minimum aircraft operations experience
- Knowledge of aircraft performance data, aviation dispatch procedures, work rules, local and international regulations, flight following and weather software
- Experience with takeoff decision speed, balanced field length concept, minimum air control speeds in aircraft performance, and related safety margin impacts when dispatching in various types of weather environments
- Knowledge of minimum regulatory fuel and alternative airport weather requirements
- Knowledge of Air Traffic Control procedures and pilot responsibilities as they relate to enroute operations, terminal area, instrument departure and approach procedures
- Ability to effectively route plan aircraft in compliance with Federal Aviation Regulations and company policy as they apply to flight and crew duty time limits, airport suitability factors (runway dimensions and precision approach availability), and political consideration of countries to be over flown
- Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of FARs and appropriate portions of the AIM (Airmen's Information Manual)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience in dealing with executive management, government officials, and service center representatives
- Must be willing to work irregular hours and be able to travel for extended periods of time
Job Duties
- Oversees the general planning and oversight of Bechtel Aircraft Operations (BAO) flights, including aircraft dispatch in compliance with applicable Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) regulations
- Adheres to standard operating procedures to ensure flight operations are conducted in a safe, on-time, secure, dependable, efficient, and flexible manner
- Confirms safest optimum flight routings when planning trip itineraries based on, but not limited to, the following scheduling parameters: maintenance downtime requirements, crew duty/rest limitations, aircraft operational performance limitations, airport/runway suitability requirements, weather analysis, Notices to Airmen (NOTAMs), and current political situations concerning countries transited or over flown
- Assesses real-time weather outlook and air traffic controller/airport restrictions potentially impacting operations, i.e., Temporary Flight Restrictions (TFRs), Special Traffic Management Procedures (STMPs), Airspace Flow Programs (AFPs), and adverse weather
- Files worldwide flight plans in accordance with FAA regulations and company policy and shares joint compliance responsibility with Pilot-in-Command
- Schedules aircrew duty to comply with company and FAA regulations regarding flight and duty times
- Ensures timely and accurate schedule communication to executive assistants, crewmembers, maintenance technicians and corporate security offices
- Coordinates international trip setup process with third party vendors and shares responsibility for trip services execution including over flight and landing permissions, U.S. Customs clearance, and crew and passenger travel visas
- Maintains and updates aircraft fleet documentation
- receives, disseminates, and stores worldwide insurance documents and international permit and credit card renewals, both electronically and on board the aircraft
- Assists the training manager in maintaining crew training records
- enters pilot training dates in scheduling program
- updates completed training activities and reports on any upcoming or overdue items
