Job Requirements

  • minimum experience required to safely operate assigned aircraft in compliance with company operational specifications and manuals
  • must be current with flight requirements
  • must hold airline transport pilot certificate
  • first class medical required
  • must be willing to submit to pre-employment drug screening and background check
  • reside within two-hour drivable commute or willing to relocate
  • ability to travel extensively as a road warrior
  • full-time availability only

Job Qualifications

  • applicable FAA part 91 and/or FAA part 135 requirements for aircraft type assigned
  • current airline transport pilot certificate
  • first class medical certificate
  • demonstrated ability to operate Global 7500 or similar aircraft safely
  • experience in crew management and operational communications
  • strong interpersonal and analytical skills
  • ability to work under pressure and solve complex problems
  • excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • familiarity with safety management systems and regulatory compliance

Job Duties

  • act as pilot in command or second in command as designated
  • ensure compliance with flight and maintenance schedules and applicable directives
  • monitor crew compliance with flight and duty time limitations
  • perform pre-flight and post-flight duties and inspections in accordance with aircraft flight manual
  • coordinate with director of maintenance and account managers on aircraft cleaning and inventory
  • manage crew schedules and vacation requests
  • review and approve crew expense reports and billing summaries
  • liaise with assistant chief pilot and director of training to monitor performance and training currency
  • conduct annual audits and ensure compliance with operational and regulatory requirements
  • coordinate with maintenance personnel to manage scheduled and unscheduled maintenance
  • communicate trip-related requests and changes to relevant departments
  • foster positive working relationships within flight department and with external stakeholders
  • participate in hiring and training processes
  • provide feedback to improve operational efficiency
