Job Requirements

  • Must be a US citizen
  • Must be able to obtain a secret security clearance
  • Ability to stand and walk up to 8 hours per day
  • Ability to lift up to 40 pounds
  • Possess a valid drivers license
  • Extensive knowledge of government supply warehouse procedures
  • Knowledge of Supply, HAZMAT, Training, Quality, FOD, and Security programs
  • Extensive experience with Microsoft Office applications
  • Thorough understanding of hazardous material management shipments
  • Working level understanding of barcode readers
  • Ability to perform inspections and inventories
  • Familiar with shipping and handling of various spare components and packing best practices

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum 2-4 years of combined experience in supply chain management, material control, receiving, inventory monitoring, kit management, and building kits to support high volume depot operations
  • Ability to communicate effectively with team members on various program projects
  • Working knowledge of computer-based supply systems and warehouse procedures
  • Familiarity with forklift operations
  • Knowledge of weapon system support and project/process management
  • Experience with FAR 52-245 inventory management practices
  • Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Access, Excel, Outlook, and Word
  • Experience in inventory management, warehouse management, and budget management

Job Duties

  • Ensure proper packing, handling, shipping, and receiving of assets
  • Perform a variety of tasks as directed by management
  • Conduct periodic inspections and warehouse inventories
  • Utilize barcode readers and Microsoft Office applications for asset management
  • Adhere to government supply warehouse procedures and compliance programs including Supply, HAZMAT, Training, Quality, FOD, and Security programs
  • Handle hazardous material management shipments safely and effectively
  • Operate various types of forklifts and follow best practices in shipping and packing materials
