Job Requirements
- At least 21 years of age
- 1,500 hours total flight time, or 1,250 hours with university R-ATP certificate, or 1,000 hours with military pilot qualification, or 1,000 hours with university R-ATP certificate
- 200 hours cross-country flight time over 50 nautical miles
- 250 hours fixed-wing pilot-in-command experience
- 100 hours of night flying or 75 hours with 45 night takeoffs and landings
- 75 hours of instrument time (actual or simulated in-flight, excludes simulator time)
- ATP written exam completed before indoctrination training
- 50 hours fixed-wing multi-engine time
- Current FAA First-Class Medical certificate
- FCC Restricted Radio Operator's Permit
- Valid United States passport
- Authorization to work in the U.S. and travel without restriction
- Flexibility to work varying hours including days, nights, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to manage rest to be prepared for flight duty
- Capability to work long duty days up to 14 hours for 8 days, across time zones and weather conditions
- Willingness to be away from home for 7 or more days and nights staying in hotels
- Ability to secure appropriate airport authority and US Customs security badges
- Must pass Transportation Security Administration background screenings
- Valid State driver’s license
- Ability to fluently read, write, and speak English
- Ability to exert physical force up to 50 pounds occasionally
- Ability to work around and care for animals
- Ability to conduct flights for Owners who smoke
Job Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Written FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certificate
- Valid FAA First-Class Medical Certificate
- FCC Restricted Radio Operator's Permit
- Valid passport
- Authorization to work in the U.S. and travel internationally without restriction
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to make quick and accurate decisions under pressure
- Service-oriented with a professional and neat appearance
- Ability to interact effectively with passengers
Job Duties
- Responsible for the safe operation of the aircraft from taxi, take-off and landing of each flight per FAA guidelines, OEM checklists, NetJets Flight Operations Manual, Aircraft Operating Manual, and Standard Operating Practices
- Greets Owners/passengers pre-flight, makes introductions and briefs them on the flight/trip, verifies itinerary, provides weather updates and safety briefings, explains itinerary changes
- Delivers in-flight service including handling alcohol and catering
- Loads and properly stows baggage on the aircraft
- Handles and conducts flights for Owners with pets and smokers
- Acts as the final authority on his/her aircraft regarding operation compliance and safety
- Acts as a liaison for Owners/passengers and NetJets from arrival at FBO to final destination departure
- Communicates maintenance abnormalities to the Maintenance Control Center Controller and completes associated paperwork
- Performs other duties as assigned
