Job Requirements

  • At least 21 years of age
  • minimum 1,000 to 1,500 total flight hours depending on certification type
  • 200 hours cross-country flight time
  • 250 hours fixed-wing Pilot in Command (PIC)
  • 100 hours night flying or 75 hours with 45 night takeoffs and landings
  • 75 hours instrument time (actual or simulated)
  • FAA ATP written completed before indoctrination training
  • 50 hours fixed-wing multi-engine time
  • valid FAA First-Class Medical Certificate
  • FCC Restricted Radio Operator's Permit
  • valid passport
  • ability to work varying hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • must be extremely flexible and able to adjust to rapid operational changes
  • must manage rest effectively for flight readiness
  • capable of duty shifts up to 14 hours per day for up to eight days including multiple time zones and extreme weather
  • able to stay away from home for seven or more days in hotels
  • able to secure appropriate airport and customs security badges
  • pass TSA required background screening
  • valid state driver’s license
  • fluency in English
  • able to exert physical force up to 50 pounds occasionally
  • able to handle animals and conduct flights for owners who smoke
  • neat and well-groomed appearance

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • valid FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) or Restricted ATP certificate with multi-engine rating
  • current FAA First-Class Medical Certificate
  • FCC Restricted Radio Operator's Permit
  • valid United States passport
  • authorization to work in the U.S. and travel internationally without restriction
  • excellent oral and written communication skills
  • strong customer service orientation
  • ability to make quick and accurate decisions under pressure
  • ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, nights, and holidays

Job Duties

  • Responsible for the safe operation of the aircraft from taxi, take-off and landing per FAA guidelines, OEM Checklists, FOM or AOM, and SOPs
  • greet Owners/passengers pre-flight, make introductions, and brief on flight details
  • deliver in-flight service including handling of alcohol and catering
  • load and stow baggage properly on aircraft
  • handle and conduct flights for Owners with pets and those who smoke
  • act as final authority on aircraft operation and ensure compliance with safety and regulations
  • serve as liaison for Owners/passengers and NetJets from arrival until final departure
  • communicate maintenance abnormalities or discrepancies via Maintenance Control Center
  • complete maintenance-related paperwork
  • perform additional duties as assigned
