Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- FAA ATP or meet requirements for FAA ATP or Restricted ATP with multi-engine rating
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Meet required flight hours as specified
- Current FAA First-Class Medical certificate
- FCC Restricted Radio Operator's Permit
- Valid United States passport
- Authorization to work in the U.S. without restriction
- Ability to work varying hours including days, nights, weekdays, weekends, and holidays
- Must be extremely flexible and adaptable to rapid changes
- Ability to manage rest to maintain flight duty readiness
- Ability to handle up to 50 pounds of force occasionally
- Ability to work around animals and accommodate pet care
- Must be able to conduct flights for owners who smoke
- Must pass TSA background screening and secure airport and US Customs security badges
- Valid State driver's license
- Proficiency in English
- Service-oriented with professional demeanor and excellent communication skills
Job Qualifications
- FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certificate
- First Class Medical Certificate
- At least 21 years of age
- 1,500 hours total flight time or 1,250 hours with appropriate university R-ATP certificate or 1,000 hours with military pilot qualification or 1,000 hours with appropriate university R-ATP certificate
- 200 hours cross-country flight time
- 250 hours fixed-wing PIC
- 100 hours night flying or 75 hours with 45 night takeoffs and landings
- 75 hours instrument time (actual or simulated in-flight)
- ATP written completed prior to start of indoctrination training
- 50 hours fixed-wing multi-engine time
- FCC Restricted Radio Operator's Permit
- Valid passport
- Authorization to work in the U.S. and travel internationally without restriction
- Must have valid United States driver's license
- Must be able to read, write, fluently speak and understand English
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Must demonstrate the ability to make quick and accurate decisions under pressure
- Service-oriented with neat, well-groomed appearance and strong interpersonal skills
Job Duties
- Responsible for the safe operation of the aircraft from taxi, take-off and landing of each flight per FAA guidelines, OEM checklists, NetJets Flight Operations Manual or Aircraft Operating Manual, and Standard Operating Practices
- Greets owners/passengers pre-flight, makes introductions, briefs them on flight/trip, verifies itinerary, provides weather updates and safety briefings, explains any itinerary changes
- Deliver in-flight service including handling alcohol and catering
- Load and properly stow all baggage on aircraft as needed
- Handle and conduct flights for owners with pets and those who smoke
- Act as the final authority on aircraft operations, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory guidance
- Acts as liaison for owners/passengers and NetJets from arrival to departure at FBO
- Communicate maintenance abnormalities or discrepancies to Maintenance Control Center and complete associated paperwork
- Perform other duties as assigned depending on assignment
