Job Requirements

  • At least 21 years of age
  • 1,500 hours total flight time or 1,250 hours with appropriate university R-ATP certificate or 1,000 hours with military pilot qualification or 1,000 hours with appropriate university R-ATP certificate
  • 200 hours cross-country flight time
  • 250 hours fixed-wing Pilot-in-Command (PIC)
  • 100 hours of night flying or 75 hours with 45 night takeoffs and landings
  • 75 hours of instrument flight time excluding simulator time
  • Current FAA First-Class Medical certificate
  • FCC Restricted Radio Operator's Permit
  • Valid passport
  • Authorization to work in the US and travel internationally without restriction
  • Flexible to work varying hours including days, nights, weekdays, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to manage rest to maintain readiness for flight duty
  • Ability to work long duty periods up to fourteen hours per day for up to eight days
  • Willingness to be away from home for seven or more days staying in hotels
  • Able to secure airport authority and US Customs security badges
  • Must pass TSA background screening
  • Valid US driver's license
  • Ability to read, write, speak and understand English
  • Service-oriented with neat appearance
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to make quick and accurate decisions
  • Physical ability to exert up to 50 pounds of force and work around animals
  • Able to conduct flights for owners who smoke

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma
  • FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certificate or meet requirements for ATP or Restricted ATP with multi-engine rating
  • Current FAA First-Class Medical Certificate
  • FAA ATP written examination completed prior to indoctrination training
  • Minimum required flight hours per FAA regulations including cross-country, night, and instrument time
  • FCC Restricted Radio Operator's Permit
  • Valid United States passport
  • Authorization to work and travel internationally without restriction
  • Valid state driver's license
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English fluently
  • Service-oriented with a professional appearance and strong interpersonal skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to make quick and accurate decisions under pressure

Job Duties

  • Responsible for safe operation of aircraft from taxi to takeoff and landing per FAA and company guidelines
  • Greet owners and passengers pre-flight and provide flight briefings and weather updates
  • Deliver in-flight service including handling of alcohol and catering
  • Load and stow baggage properly on aircraft
  • Conduct flights accommodating owners with pets and smoking
  • Act as the final authority on the aircraft ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards
  • Liaise between owners/passengers and NetJets from arrival until departure
  • Communicate maintenance abnormalities to Maintenance Control Center and complete associated paperwork
  • Perform other duties as assigned
