Job Requirements

  • At least 21 years of age
  • Minimum of 1,000 to 1,500 flight hours depending on certification path
  • Minimum 200 hours cross-country flight time
  • Minimum 250 hours fixed-wing PIC
  • 100 hours night flying or 45 night takeoffs and landings
  • 75 hours of instrument time
  • Completion of ATP written exam prior to indoctrination training
  • Minimum 50 hours fixed-wing multi-engine time
  • Current FAA First-Class Medical certificate
  • FCC Restricted Radio Operator’s Permit
  • Valid United States passport
  • Authorization to work in the U.S. and travel internationally without restriction
  • Ability to work varying hours including days, nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Flexibility to adjust to rapid changes
  • Ability to manage rest for flight duty readiness
  • Duty periods up to fourteen hours per day for up to eight days
  • Possibility of being away from home for seven or more days and nights
  • Ability to secure airport authority and/or US Customs security badges
  • Ability to pass Transportation Security Administration background screening
  • Valid state driver’s license
  • Proficient in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English
  • Ability to exert physical force to move objects
  • Ability to work around and care for animals
  • Ability to conduct flights for Owners who smoke

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) or Restricted ATP certificate with multi-engine rating
  • Must possess a current FAA First-Class Medical Certificate
  • FCC Restricted Radio Operator's Permit
  • Valid passport and authorization to work in the U.S. and travel without restriction
  • Ability to work varying hours including day and night, weekdays, weekends and holidays
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Service-oriented with a neat and well-groomed appearance
  • Ability to make quick and accurate decisions while paying attention to detail
  • Experience in handling pets and smoking accommodations on flights

Job Duties

  • Responsible for the safe operation of the aircraft from taxi, take-off and landing of each flight per FAA guidelines, OEM Checklists, NetJets Flight Operations Manual (FOM) or Aircraft Operating Manual (AOM), and Standard Operating Practices (SOPs)
  • Greets Owners/passengers pre-flight, makes introductions and briefs them on the specific flight/trip and verifies itinerary/provides passengers with weather updates and safety briefings and explains any changes to itinerary
  • Deliver in-flight service including handling of alcohol and service of catering
  • Load and properly stow on aircraft all baggage as needed
  • Handle and conduct flights for Owners with pets and those who smoke
  • Act as the final authority on aircraft with respect to all areas of operation including compliance with all safety and regulatory guidance
  • Act as a liaison for Owners/passengers and NetJets from arrival at FBO until safely landed and departed final FBO
  • Properly communicate any maintenance abnormalities or discrepancies to Maintenance Control Center (MCC)
  • Complete paperwork associated with maintenance abnormalities or discrepancies
  • Perform other duties as assigned depending on assignment
