Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous driving or escorting experience preferred
- Must have a valid driver’s license with any required endorsements
- Ability to pass company motor vehicle report and background check
- Must pass company drug testing
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform inspections
- Availability for overnight travel 2 to 3 nights per week
- Ability to understand and follow safety protocols and state-specific regulations
- Strong communication skills with proficiency in English
Job Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license
- Motor vehicle report and background check in line with company requirements
- Must pass company drug testing and adhere to company policies
- Must obtain and maintain a Pilot/Escort Vehicle Operator and Defensive Driving Certification
- Availability for overnight stays 2 to 3 nights each week
- Ability to perform physical requirements such as lifting up to 50 lbs and inspecting vehicle components
- Proficient in reading and speaking English
- Willingness to operate a motor vehicle in all 48 contiguous states
Job Duties
- Assist in the preparation of the home for shipment
- Pilot/Escort the home as it navigates the required route
- Maintain communication with the Toter driver via CB radio
- Maintain communication with Retailers
- Understand how to read and comprehend state specific Pilot/Escort requirements
- Always represent the company and its values
- Perform pre-trip inspections and assist in repairs
