Job Requirements
- Valid driver's license
- motor vehicle report and background check meeting company standards
- pass company drug testing and follow policies
- obtain and keep P/EVO and Defensive Driving certification
- availability for 2-3 overnight stays weekly
- ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical inspections
- ability to bend, stoop, squat, and kneel for inspections
- willingness to drive in all 48 states
- proficiency in English language
- ability to read and understand permits
- safe trip planning skills
Job Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with possible additional endorsements, motor vehicle report and background check in line with company requirements, ability to pass company drug testing and adhere to policies, obtain and maintain P/EVO and Defensive Driving certification, availability for overnight travel 2-3 nights per week, physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform inspections, proficient in reading and speaking English, able to understand bills of lading and permits, willingness to operate a motor vehicle in all 48 states
Job Duties
- Assist in the preparation of the home for shipment, pilot/escort the home along the required route, maintain communication with the Toter driver via CB radio, maintain communication with retailers, understand and comply with state-specific Pilot/Escort requirements, represent the company professionally at all times, assist in repairs including changing flat tires and conducting pre-trip inspections
