Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous driving or escort experience preferred
- Ability to work weekdays with occasional weekends
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to safely plan and navigate trips
- Must adhere to company policies and safety regulations
- Must be able to pass physical requirements of the job
- Must have reliable transportation to reporting location
Job Qualifications
- Valid driver's license
- Motor vehicle report and background check per company requirements
- Pass company drug testing
- Obtain and maintain P/EVO and Defensive Driving Certification
- Ability to perform physical requirements including lifting up to 50 lbs and performing inspections
- Willingness to operate a motor vehicle in all 48 states
- Proficient in reading and speaking English including understanding bills of lading and permits
- Availability for overnight travel 2-3 nights per week
Job Duties
- Assist in the preparation of the home for shipment including installing lights, checking tires, securing plastic
- Pilot/Escort the home as it navigates the required route calling out hazards, acquiring multiple lanes, assisting in repairs
- Maintain communication with the Toter driver via CB radio
- Maintain communication with retailers
- Understand and comply with state-specific Pilot/Escort requirements
- Represent the company professionally at all times
- Perform pre-trip inspections and assist with flat tire changes
