Job Requirements

  • Commercial Pilot license with instrument and multi-engine ratings
  • Minimum 1500 total flight hours
  • High school diploma
  • FAA Class I or II Medical certificate
  • Ability to operate under FAA regulations
  • Willingness to work extended hours including nights and weekends
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying meteorological conditions
  • Strong communication and decision-making skills
  • Ability to maintain safety and security of personnel and company assets

Job Qualifications

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Knowledge of FAA regulations and flight department policies
  • Problem-solving skills for dynamic flight and travel conditions
  • Ability to make in-flight safety decisions and provide clear instructions
  • Experience with Cockpit Resource Management practices
  • Familiarity with flight recordkeeping software
  • Ability to operate complex equipment in dynamic environments

Job Duties

  • Safely operate company airplane according to approved procedures and FAA regulations
  • Maintain in-flight control of aircraft as Pilot Flying
  • Monitor aircraft condition, performance, fuel requirements, and operational concerns
  • Assist or conduct flight planning and evaluate weather
  • Maintain aircraft readiness and oversee routine servicing
  • Maintain and verify flight records using PFM software
  • Assist with scheduling and report generation
  • Maintain contact with Chief Pilot and Travel Desk to update schedules and passenger needs
  • Process and edit requests entering correct data into the PFM system
  • Coordinate with fixed-base operators for fueling, de-icing, and services
  • Verify aircraft navigational databases, charts, and FAA publications
  • Familiarize with Company Aircraft Policy and Procedures manual
