Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED accredited
  • Airline Transport Pilot Certificate (ATP) license
  • FAA pilot certificate with commercial instrument rating
  • FAA Class I medical certificate
  • Proficient in English
  • Valid passport
  • Valid automobile driver’s license

  • 500 turbine hours
  • Experience in international flights

Job Duties

  • Work within WM Aviation Department to maintain a culture of safety with efficient procedures that support customer service
  • Pilot the aircraft, review emergency procedures and brief passengers regarding these procedures
  • Ensure the airworthiness of the aircraft
  • Compute aircraft performance to ensure limitations are not exceeded
  • Research current weather conditions, forecasts, notices to airmen and Temporary Flight Restrictions for flight points
  • Calculate Instrument Flight Rules plans and file them with the FAA
  • Ensure pilot, aircraft and passenger qualifications and documentation are current and meet regulations
  • Address passenger needs such as security requirements, ground transportation, catering and baggage
