Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Airline Transport Pilot Certificate (ATP) license
  • FAA Pilot certificate with commercial instrument rating
  • FAA Class I Medical Certificate
  • English proficient
  • Valid passport
  • Valid automobile driver’s license

  • Three or more years of previous experience preferred
  • 500 turbine hours preferred
  • International flights experience preferred

Job Duties

  • Work within WM Aviation Department to maintain a culture of safety with efficient procedures that support customer service
  • Pilot the aircraft and review emergency procedures
  • Brief passengers regarding emergency procedures
  • Ensure the airworthiness of the aircraft
  • Compute aircraft performance according to flight conditions and ensure limitations are not exceeded
  • Research current weather conditions, forecasts, notices to airmen, and temporary flight restrictions for departure, destination, and alternate points
  • Calculate and file Instrument Flight Rules (IFR) flight plans with the FAA
  • Ensure all pilot, aircraft, and passenger qualifications and documentation are current and meet federal and state regulations
  • Address passenger needs including security requirements, ground transportation, catering, and baggage
