Job Requirements
- Must speak Spanish
- experience in traditional or BBQ restaurant kitchens
- skilled in salad, fry, grill, and expo stations
- strong organizational and communication skills
- ability to order according to budget and manage deliveries
- proactive, punctual, ready for challenge
- must be 18 years of age or older
- able to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs in a fast-paced environment
- no education requirement
- must obtain serve safe food preparation manager certification within 2 weeks

Job Duties
- Assume the Chef position in chef’s absence
- help expedite to ensure food is prepared correctly in terms of order accuracy, temperature, taste, and appearance
- direct food runners with guiding and directing how the food is presented
- ensure the safety of all allergy-sensitive dishes and food safety standards
- maintain a safe work environment following MA food safety guidelines and laws
- help with everyday preparation including reviewing event orders and leading execution
- maintain walk-ins, dry storage, clean and organized kitchen prep stations with team’s help
- communicate with management to find solutions for problems
- train new kitchen employees and coach current staff continually
- maintain quality standards
- assist with inventory, supplies, deliveries, and weekly ordering
