Job Duties

  • Safely and efficiently pick up and deliver customer vehicles for service appointments, test drives, or vehicle sales
  • ensure that all vehicles are handled with care and delivered in a timely manner
  • provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with customers regarding pick-up and delivery schedules, addressing questions, and ensuring their satisfaction
  • offer a professional and friendly demeanor at all times
  • ensure all vehicles are driven in a safe and timely manner, following all traffic laws and company policies
  • prioritize safety during transport, including properly securing vehicles when necessary
  • accurately document pick-up and delivery details, including customer information, vehicle condition, and any special requests or instructions
  • complete all necessary paperwork for each delivery or pick-up, ensuring the proper signatures and receipts are collected
  • before picking up or delivering vehicles, perform a basic inspection to ensure they are in good condition
  • take note of any existing damage or issues and report them to the service department or sales team as needed
  • plan efficient routes to ensure timely delivery and minimize delays
  • use GPS and other tools to find the best routes for customer satisfaction
  • while in transit, ensure that vehicles are protected from damage or dirt
  • ensure that vehicles are clean and presentable upon delivery
  • work closely with the service, sales, and management teams to coordinate pick-ups and deliveries
  • ensure that all logistics are aligned with customer appointments and dealership schedules
  • ensure that customers are fully satisfied with the pick-up and delivery experience
  • be responsive to customer feedback and escalate any issues to the appropriate department as needed
  • ensure that the dealership’s pick-up and delivery vehicles are clean and well-maintained
  • perform basic vehicle checks, such as oil levels and tire pressure, and report any maintenance issues to the service department
