Job Requirements

  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • 1-2 years of experience teaching pickleball or similar recreational sports
  • Excellent customer service skills with a friendly outgoing and positive attitude
  • Thorough knowledge of pickleball and effective teaching techniques
  • Excellent communication time management and organization skills
  • Comfortable working with all age groups and building positive relationships
  • Ability to sit stand walk reach climb and lift up to 50 pounds
  • Must complete certification from International Pickleball Teaching Professional Association or Professional Pickleball Registry within six months of hire

Job Duties

  • Monitor demonstrate and instruct students during lessons on proper techniques tactics and strategies to improve their pickleball game
  • Teach on court on average 30+ hours per week between tennis and pickleball combined
  • Develop safe professional and comprehensive pickleball lessons and programs to encourage continued involvement and positive feedback
  • Create exceptional member experiences by involving members in programs tournaments and special events and ensuring facilities and equipment are clean organized and in good condition
  • Participate in system wide sales efforts with Membership Advisors and Member Activities ensuring pickleball is integral to Life Time brand
  • Attend meetings related to pickleball
