Job Requirements
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, outgoing, and positive attitude
- Comfortable working with all age groups and building positive relationships
- Ability to sit, stand, walk, reach, climb, and lift up to 50 pounds
- Completion of IPTPA or PPR certification within six months of hire
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1-2 years of relevant pickleball teaching experience
Job Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent
- 1-2 years of experience in pickleball instruction or related roles
- Thorough knowledge of pickleball techniques, tactics, and effective teaching methods
- Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills
- Ability to build positive relationships with members and colleagues
- Certification from IPTPA or PPR within six months of hire preferred
- CPR and AED certification preferred
Job Duties
- Teach private and group pickleball lessons on proper techniques, tactics, and strategies to improve player skills
- Coordinate pickleball leagues and mixers to engage members in competitive and social play
- Develop safe, professional, and comprehensive lesson plans that promote continued involvement and positive member experiences
- Create exceptional member experiences by involving them in programs, tournaments, and special events
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and good working condition of pickleball facilities and equipment
- Collaborate with Membership Advisors and Member Activities teams to support sales efforts integrating pickleball with the Life Time brand
- Attend relevant meetings related to pickleball programming and initiatives
