Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Excellent customer service skills, friendly, outgoing, and positive attitude
- Thorough knowledge of the game of pickleball and effective teaching styles and techniques
- Excellent communication, time management, and organization skills
- Comfortable working with all age groups and building positive relationships with members and team members
- Ability to sit, stand, walk, reach, climb, and lift up to 50 pounds
- Within 6 months of hire must complete one of the following certifications: International Pickleball Teaching Professional Association (IPTPA) and/or Professional Pickleball Registry (PPR)
- CPR and AED certified within 30 days of hire

Job Duties
- Monitor, demonstrate, and instruct students on proper pickleball techniques, tactics, and strategies to improve their game
- Teach on court an average of 30+ hours per week between tennis and pickleball combined
- Develop safe, professional, and comprehensive pickleball lessons and programs to encourage continued involvement and positive feedback
- Create exceptional member experiences by involving members in programs, tournaments, and special events
- Maintain tennis and pickleball facilities and equipment in a clean, organized, and good working condition
- Participate in system-wide sales efforts with Membership Advisors and Member Activities
- Attend pickleball-related meetings to stay informed and contribute to program development
