Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in food preparation or retail is preferred
- Ability to engage customers and provide excellent guest service
- Capable of performing physical tasks including standing for long periods
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- Ability to follow company operational and merchandising standards
- Willingness to learn and adapt to company policies and procedures
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in food preparation or retail preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to demonstrate knife skills safely
- Strong customer service orientation
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
Job Duties
- Prepare Pick & Prep products to provide an engaging guest experience
- Actively engage guests through product preparation, sampling, and suggestive selling
- Demonstrate superior guest service including storytelling about products
- Showcase knife showmanship skills to highlight Pick & Prep services
- Operate the Pick & Prep area according to merchandising and operational standards
- Ensure product quality meets Lowes Foods standards
- Maintain sanitation and safety throughout the department
- Perform product preparation, receiving, ordering, stocking, merchandising, and guest service as necessary
- Perform PA announcements
- Perform other duties as assigned by management
