Job Duties

  • Supervise front office operations as directed by hotel management
  • work front desk shifts and assist, train, coach, and guide the front desk team
  • ensure all associates follow CMC and Marriott policies and guest satisfaction standards
  • interface with previous shift and managers to update on hotel activities
  • provide expedient check-in and check-out service
  • be knowledgeable of hotel property and in-house events
  • provide guests information concerning hotel policies and amenities
  • assist in reaching monthly brand standard goals in customer service, employee training, and brand recognition
  • schedule front desk associates to maintain budget and control overtime
  • supervise daily shift processes ensuring adherence to standard operating procedures
  • verify associates are in uniform and follow dress code
  • train, direct, resolve issues, coach, and counsel front desk team members
  • demonstrate positive leadership to inspire team members
  • supervise efficient front desk operations including night audit proficiency
  • act as a role model sharing expertise and inspiring the front office team
  • ensure daily completion of brand quality standards
  • ensure security for hotel customers, employees, and assets
  • execute any other tasks deemed necessary by hotel management
