Job Requirements

  • Minimal one year hotel experience is required
  • Be self-motivated and able to work independently
  • Strong work ethic and a desire to succeed
  • Clean background check
  • Reliable transportation
  • Must possess solid basic accounting and math skills
  • Comfortable with computers
  • Have excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Must be available to work any shift from 7:00 am to 12:00 am and weekends

Job Duties

  • Supervise front office operations as directed by hotel management
  • Work front desk shifts and assist, train, coach, and guide front desk team
  • Interface with previous shifts and managers to stay updated on hotel activities
  • Provide expedient check-in and check-out services
  • Be knowledgeable of hotel property and in-house events
  • Provide guests information about hotel policies and amenities
  • Assist in reaching monthly brand standard customer service and training goals
  • Schedule front desk associates keeping hours in budget and overtime under control
  • Ensure all team members adhere to standard operating procedures
  • Verify associates are in uniform and following dress code
  • Train, direct, resolve issues, coach and counsel front desk team members
  • Demonstrate positive leadership characteristics
  • Supervise all three shifts including night audit
  • Act as a role model and inspire front office team
  • Ensure all brand quality standards are completed daily
  • Ensure security for customers, employees, and property assets
  • Execute other tasks as necessary for successful operation of the property
