Job Requirements

  • Minimal 1 year hotel experience is required
  • be self-motivated and able to work independently
  • strong work ethic and a desire to succeed
  • clean background check, and reliable transportation a must
  • must possess solid basic accounting and math skills, be comfortable with computers and have excellent customer service and communication skills
  • must be available to work any shift 7:00 am - 12:00 am and weekends

Job Duties

  • Supervise the front office operations as directed by hotel management
  • work front desk shifts and assist, train, coach, and guide front desk team
  • ensure all associates follow CMC and Marriott policies and guest satisfaction standards
  • report directly to the Assistant General Manager
  • interface with previous shift and managers to stay updated on hotel activities
  • provide expedient check-in/check-out service
  • maintain knowledge of hotel property and in-house events
  • provide guests with information concerning hotel policies and amenities/services
  • assist in reaching monthly brand standard goals in customer service, employee training, and brand recognition
  • schedule front desk associates keeping hours in budget and overtime under control
  • supervise daily shift process ensuring adherence to standard operating procedures
  • verify all front office associates follow dress code policy
  • train, direct, resolve issues, coach, and counsel front desk team members
  • demonstrate positive leadership characteristics
  • supervise efficient front desk operations including night audit proficiency
  • serve as a role model sharing expertise and inspiring the team
  • ensure all brand quality standards and requirements are completed daily
  • ensure security for hotel customers, employees, and property assets
  • execute other tasks deemed necessary by hotel management
