Job Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited medical school
- valid medical license to practice in North Carolina
- completion of residency in obstetrics and gynecology
- board certification or eligibility in OB hospitalist medicine
- ability to work rotational shifts including nights and weekends
- commitment to quality patient care
- effective interpersonal skills
Job Qualifications
- Board certified or board eligible OB Hospitalist physician
- experience in labor and delivery patient care
- knowledge of neonatal and lactation services
- familiarity with infant security systems
- ability to manage 12 to 24 hour shifts
- strong communication and teamwork skills
Job Duties
- Provide labor and delivery support to women’s services team
- take call for affiliated OB/GYN practice
- work shifts varying between 12 and 24 hours
- oversee patient care in labor, delivery, and recovery rooms
- collaborate with neonatal support and lactation services teams
- implement infant security protocols
- participate in multidisciplinary care coordination
