Job Requirements
- Medical degree from accredited institution
- Completion of residency in general surgery
- Valid medical license or eligibility to obtain in New Mexico
- Board certification or eligibility in general surgery
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Commitment to patient-centered care and ethical practice
Job Qualifications

- Strong clinical skills in broad-spectrum general surgery
- Experience or interest in robotic-assisted surgery
- Ability to manage both inpatient and outpatient surgical cases
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Commitment to professional development and continuing education
- Licensure to practice medicine in New Mexico or eligibility to obtain one
Job Duties
- Perform general surgery procedures including inpatient and outpatient cases
- Utilize da Vinci Xi robotic systems for minimally invasive and robotic-assisted surgeries
- Manage ER call duties on a 1:4 rotation
- Provide phone-only practice call coverage on a 1:4 rotation
- Collaborate with hospital staff to deliver comprehensive surgical care
- Participate in mentorship and leadership programs within the hospital system
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records and surgical documentation
