Job Requirements
- Associates degree in physical therapy
- current and valid licensure or eligibility to apply for licensure
- two years of related experience preferred
- ability to obtain Arkansas license within one month of hire
- compliance with UAMS policies and HIPAA
- capacity to educate patients and caregivers
- ability to operate and maintain physical therapy equipment
- commitment to professional development
Job Qualifications
- Associates degree in physical therapy
- current and valid licensure by the Arkansas State Board of Physical Therapy
- eligible to apply for licensure if not currently licensed
- two years of experience preferred
- current Arkansas license or eligible to apply and obtain license within one month of hire
- LSVT BIG or PWR! Moves certification preferred
- ability to educate and assist patients in managing chronic conditions and promoting wellness
- skills in developing and implementing individualized health plans and coordinating outpatient follow-up
- competence in maintaining accurate records and ensuring adherence to organizational policies
- capacity to work independently and maintain high-quality care standards
- commitment to ongoing training and skill development
Job Duties
- Implement therapeutic plans under the supervision of a physical therapist
- provide daily care including gait training, balance exercises, strength training, endurance exercises, and functional mobility
- educate patients and caregivers on therapeutic techniques and wellness
- ensure compliance with UAMS policies and HIPAA standards
- operate and maintain physical therapy equipment
