Job Requirements

  • bachelor's, master's or doctoral degree in physical therapy from accredited schools approved by the APTA
  • active state license is required to start the assignment
  • BLS certification may be required from AHA or ARC

Job Qualifications

  • bachelor's, master's or doctoral degree in physical therapy from accredited schools approved by the APTA
  • active state physical therapy license
  • current BLS certification from AHA or ARC
  • strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • proven ability to work independently and adapt to new clinical environments
  • experience in outpatient physical therapy preferred

Job Duties

  • assess patient conditions and develop personalized treatment plans
  • provide therapeutic interventions to improve patient mobility and reduce pain
  • educate patients and families on home exercise programs
  • document patient progress and update treatment plans accordingly
  • collaborate with healthcare teams to coordinate patient care
  • ensure compliance with facility regulations and safety standards
  • maintain professional licensure and participate in ongoing continuing education
