Job Requirements
- bachelor's, master's or doctoral degree in physical therapy from accredited schools approved by the APTA
- active state license is required to start the assignment
- BLS certification may be required from AHA or ARC
Job Qualifications
- bachelor's, master's or doctoral degree in physical therapy from accredited schools approved by the APTA
- active state physical therapy license
- current BLS certification from AHA or ARC
- strong interpersonal and communication skills
- proven ability to work independently and adapt to new clinical environments
- experience in outpatient physical therapy preferred
Job Duties
- assess patient conditions and develop personalized treatment plans
- provide therapeutic interventions to improve patient mobility and reduce pain
- educate patients and families on home exercise programs
- document patient progress and update treatment plans accordingly
- collaborate with healthcare teams to coordinate patient care
- ensure compliance with facility regulations and safety standards
- maintain professional licensure and participate in ongoing continuing education
