Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to work full-time
- Physical ability to lift, push or pull at least 50 pounds
- Availability to work flexible shifts including evenings, nights and weekends
- Ability to follow safety regulations and food handling standards
- Familiarity with warehouse or dock operations
- Basic communication and computer skills
- Ability to operate handheld scanning devices
- Detail-oriented with good organizational skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment

- Availability to work a variety of shifts, including days, evenings, nights and weekends, due to varying freight volumes
- Dock or warehouse experience in the transportation industry
- Experience loading and unloading trailers
- Experience using handheld scanners
- Ability to apply critical thinking to carry out instructions furnished in written, verbal or diagram form
- Must be able to lift, push or pull at least 50 pounds
- Warehouse experience of 1 year preferred
- English language preferred
Job Duties
- Responsible for receiving, properly dating and rotating, and storing products in designated storage areas according to FIFO practices
- Responsible for delivering various products to various departments on continuous basis, or according to a delivery schedule, or by requisitions/kit
- Decant products following FIFO practices, accurately record liquor/beer/wine usage on daily liquor decanting log, handle food according to HACCP guidelines
- Must keep work area/department clean and organized
- Breaks down cardboard and follows the recycling process
- Must work safely following safety guidelines
- Assist with shipping and receiving activities, including unloading trucks, checking in merchandise, matching purchase orders to sales orders and distributing orders to sales associates for processing
- Read customer orders, work orders, shipping orders and requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered, distributed and/or shipped
- Complete work in a safe manner and adhere to all safety policies and procedures
- Take check calls from drivers, ensuring that loads will deliver on time
- validate all load data prior to marking loads delivered, for accounting purposes
- Monitor daily pick-ups and deliveries
- verify that loads have arrived on time and in good condition
