Job Requirements
- restaurant cooking: 1 year Taiwanese/Chinese culinary experience required
- must be able to lift and push 50+ lbs
- must be able to stand, bend, lift and move intermittently during shift of 8+ hours
- must be flexible and able to react to changing priorities
- must be able to read, write and understand English
- must be able to use fingers/hands to handle equipment
- must have strong efficiency in knife skills
- ability to relocate to Phoenix, AZ 85040 before starting work required
Job Qualifications
- culinary degree or cooking certification preferred
- at least 2 years of experience cooking in a high-volume institutional catering environment preferred
- strong knife skills
- ability to read, write and understand English
- ability to use fingers and hands to handle equipment
- understanding of various cooking techniques and ability to follow recipes
- strong organizational skills
- strong understanding of food safety and HACCP regulations
Job Duties
- prepare complete dishes from scratch in a wide variety of cuisines
- assemble and plate dishes with a high level of consistency and in accordance with customer specifications
- follow recipes and cooking techniques accurately
- maintain strong organizational skills to manage workflow
- ensure strict compliance with food safety and HACCP regulations
- adapt flexibly to changing priorities during shifts
- work collaboratively with the team in a fast-paced production environment
