Job Requirements
- Must reside in Riverside CA or surrounding cities
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
- Valid driver’s license and access to a reliable insured vehicle large enough to transport equipment
- Flexibility to work early mornings evenings and travel within assigned service area
- Ability to communicate effectively with school staff clients and team members
- Background checks such as fingerprint scan and tuberculosis clearance if required by school or state
- Availability to attend 3-day paid training session at JostensPIX headquarters in Minnesota and virtual training
- Physical stamina to maintain energy throughout busy photo days
- Reliable cell phone and internet access for communication
- Professional grooming and demeanor consistent with company image
Job Qualifications
- A four-year degree or equivalent combination of education customer service and general business experience
- Proven leadership experience managing teams and driving performance
- Exceptional communication skills to connect with and lead team clients and partners
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail managing multiple tasks simultaneously
- Comfortable and skilled with technology and learning new programs
- Physical ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs with stamina for busy photo days
- Flexibility to work early mornings evenings and travel as needed
- Valid driver’s license with access to a reliable insured vehicle large enough for equipment transport
- Professional appearance reflecting company’s corporate image
- Ability to interact positively with students of all ages and abilities
- Reliable communication access with dependable cell phone and internet service
Job Duties
- Manage photo day logistics ensuring the right number of photographers are scheduled for each event
- Research and determine centralized storage location for photography equipment
- Oversee equipment storage organization and coordinate equipment pickups with team
- Coordinate weekly pickups with event leads for photography hard drives
- Collect and prepare all photography gear for shipment to Minnesota at season end
- Partner with HR to conduct interviews and hire photographers
- Directly manage photographers within the hub including scheduling and school assignments
- Ensure clear communication of all photo day event details to photographers and school contacts
- Establish expectations for photographers regarding standards and attendance
- Attend and lead weekly virtual team meetings
- Partner with travel coordinator for hotel reservations
- Oversee and approve photographer expenses managing overtime and travel needs
- Execute JostensPIX photography following company protocol
- Provide hands-on support as photographer or event lead during peak days
- Attend 2-3 photo day events weekly as additional support
- Ensure smooth on-site operations including equipment setup and tech troubleshooting
- Travel as needed within assigned hub to various school locations
