Job Requirements

  • Taiwanese or Chinese culinary experience required
  • able to lift and push 50 or more pounds
  • able to stand, bend, lift, and move intermittently during an 8-hour shift
  • flexible and able to react to changing priorities
  • must be able to use fingers or hands to handle equipment
  • able to work full-time in Phoenix, AZ
  • willing to relocate before starting work
  • at least 1 year of restaurant cooking experience
  • able to work in person

Job Qualifications

  • Culinary degree or cooking certification preferred
  • at least 2 years of experience in high-volume institutional catering preferred
  • proficient in Taiwanese or Chinese culinary techniques
  • strong efficiency in knife skills
  • ability to read, write, and understand English
  • knowledge of food safety and HACCP standards
  • excellent organizational skills
  • experience in preparing large quantities of food accurately and consistently

Job Duties

  • Prepare complete dishes from scratch in a wide variety of cuisines
  • assemble and plate food with high consistency and accuracy
  • follow customer specifications and recipes strictly
  • maintain strong knife skills for efficient food preparation
  • ensure compliance with food safety and HACCP regulations
  • handle and operate kitchen equipment safely
  • adapt to changing priorities and maintain organizational skills during shifts
