Job Requirements

  • High school graduation or GED
  • one year of work experience performing physical, manual labor
  • ability to pass a criminal background investigation requiring fingerprinting
  • proof of immunization or immunity to certain infectious diseases and TB test
  • possession of a valid Montana Driver's License
  • willingness to volunteer vaccination status for required vaccines
  • ability to work outdoors and carry out physical tasks including heavy lifting
  • availability for on-call assignments with cell phone access
  • no remote work option available

Job Qualifications

  • High school graduation or GED
  • one year of work experience performing physical, manual labor
  • preventive maintenance experience in a multi-building facility or large operation preferred
  • ability to pass criminal background investigation including fingerprinting
  • ability to provide proof of immunizations or immunity to infectious diseases and TB test
  • valid Montana Driver's License
  • ability to work outside normal hours and carry out on-call duties
  • physical ability to perform strenuous labor including lifting heavy objects
  • experience with HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry repairs
  • effective communication and coordination skills

Job Duties

  • Develop and maintain familiarity with PHC facilities
  • report maintenance issues or unsafe conditions to supervisor
  • notify supervisor when supplies are needed
  • perform preventive maintenance on heating and air conditioning systems and generators
  • conduct preventive maintenance on low-pressure boilers and chemical treatment
  • assist with filter and belt replacements on HVAC equipment
  • clean fixtures, vents, and registers
  • implement pest control measures
  • assist in repair of building systems including fire, security, elevator, irrigation, HVAC, boiler, generator, and video security systems
  • make minor plumbing, electrical, and carpentry repairs
  • assist with office layout changes and move furniture and equipment as needed
  • assist in fire extinguisher maintenance
  • perform grounds maintenance including snow removal, de-icing, lawn maintenance, and maintaining exterior lighting
  • pick up trash and clean parking lots
  • perform related duties as assigned or directed
