Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Must be 18 years of age
- Ability to handle highly confidential information
- Completion of national registration, certification or licensure
- Maintain current registration or licensure as required by state
- Support company health and wellness initiatives
- Understand and adhere to HIPAA regulations and company policies
- Assist pharmacist in all responsibilities except those requiring pharmacist judgment
- Provide accurate and efficient customer service in reception, data entry, adjudication, and product dispensing
- Support coaching and training of clerks and technicians
- Compound medications in compliance with relevant regulations
- Perform post-fill audits to verify prescription information
- Support non-dispensing services with various resources and platforms
- Complete CLIA-waived screenings per laws and company policies
- Provide health and wellness services allowed by regulations
- Comply with sanitation and safety regulations and report unsafe conditions
- Abide by local, state, and federal regulations and report illegal activities
- Must be able to perform essential job functions with or without accommodation
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Current national registration, certification, or licensure as required by state law
- Understanding and adherence to HIPAA regulations and company policies
- Experience in pharmacy technician roles or comparable experience preferred
- Ability to support health and wellness initiatives
- Knowledge of state and federal pharmacy regulations
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to perform post-fill audits and compound medications accurately
- Capability to train and coach team members
- Familiarity with CLIA-waived screenings and other health services
- Commitment to company core values
- Capability to handle confidential information with integrity
Job Duties
- Provide exceptional customer service to support healthier living
- Handle direct patient intervention with health and wellness services as allowed by law
- Support company health and wellness initiatives
- Assist pharmacists with responsibilities excluding those requiring professional judgement
- Accurately complete all steps of reception, data entry, adjudication, and product dispensing
- Support coaching and training of clerks and technicians
- Compound medications following state and federal regulations
- Perform post-fill audits to verify prescription accuracy
- Support non-dispensing services through various platforms and applications
- Conduct CLIA-waived health screenings per legal and company guidelines
- Deliver additional health and wellness services permitted by regulatory bodies
- Enforce sanitation and safety regulations and report unsafe conditions
- Comply with all local, state, and federal legal requirements and report illegal activity
- Maintain confidentiality and privacy consistent with HIPAA and company policies
- Uphold company core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion, and safety
