Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- minimum one year experience as a pharmacy technician
- certified pharmacy technician with the State Board of Pharmacy
- knowledge of medical and pharmacy terminology
- understanding of state BOP, Department of Health, and DEA regulations
- proficient computer skills including word processing, spreadsheets, and databases
- ability to work in team settings and handle stressful conditions

- familiarity with state and federal pharmacy regulations

Job Duties
- perform all technician functions specific to the assigned pharmacy space
- hazardous compounding as significant portion of shifts
- interpret and prepare medication orders including filling provider orders and managing controlled substances
- demonstrate proficiency with pharmacy automation and computer systems
- contribute to inventory management and operational efficiencies
- provide shift or site technical leadership
- participate in training and mentoring new staff
