Job Requirements
- possession of a valid certificate of registration as a Pharmacy Technician issued by the State Board of Pharmacy
- one year of clerical work experience in a pharmacy or completion of academic curriculum and formal on-the-job training program
- legal authorization to work in the United States
- ability to undergo background investigation including Live Scan Fingerprinting and tuberculosis testing
- submission of unofficial transcripts or diploma if qualifying based on education
- willingness to provide verification of U.S. course/degree equivalency for foreign education credentials if applicable
Job Qualifications
- possession of a valid certificate of registration as a Pharmacy Technician issued by the State Board of Pharmacy
- one year of clerical work experience in a pharmacy relieving a pharmacist of clerical or subprofessional duties
- experience including stocking shelves with pharmaceutical supplies or typing pharmaceutical labels
- or completion of an academic curriculum and formal on-the-job training program for Pharmacy Technician
- willingness to promote an equitable and inclusive workplace
Job Duties
- assist in preparing medication orders
- coordinate the medication supply chain
- maintain records in accordance with policies and regulations
- manage medication inventory
- relieve pharmacists of clerical duties related to pharmaceutical supplies
- stock shelves with pharmaceutical supplies
- type pharmaceutical labels
