Job Requirements
- Meets all state requirements to work as a Pharmacy Technician including any necessary registration or licensure
- Must obtain National Pharmacy Technician Certification issued by PTCB or NHA within 9 months of job entry
- Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment

Job Qualifications
- Meets state requirements to work as a Pharmacy Technician such as age, registration, certification, and licensing when required
- Ability to enter prescription data accurately
- Skilled in measuring and mixing medications
- Familiarity with prescription fulfillment processes and third-party insurance claims
- Strong customer service skills and ability to communicate effectively with members
- Ability to operate cash registers and pharmacy-related hardware
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain compliance with HIPAA and company policies
Job Duties
- Process member purchases by operating cash registers and related hardware
- Maintain merchandise presentation by stocking, rotating, and pricing merchandise
- Handle pharmacy area tasks including claims, returns, and merchandising functions
- Monitor and resolve prescription fulfillment issues including insurance claims and inventory
- Promote and maintain the pharmacy's professional reputation by assisting in prescription fulfillment and member service
- Enter prescription data accurately into pharmacy software
- Fill prescriptions by counting, measuring, mixing, labeling, and using automated dispensing systems
- Provide member assistance during prescription pickup including verifying information and compliance with policies
- Complete work assignments by collaborating with team members and using company resources
- Comply with company policies, ethics, and safety standards at all times
