Job Requirements
- Meets all state requirements to work as a pharmacy technician such as minimum age, qualification, registration, certification, and/or licensure when required
- Must obtain national pharmacy technician certification issued by PTCB or NHA within 9 months of job entry
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to handle confidential patient information with integrity
- Commitment to comply with company policies and ethical standards

- Experience with pharmacy software systems preferred

Job Duties
- Process member purchases by operating cash registers and handling different payment types
- Maintain pharmacy merchandise presentation by stocking, rotating, pricing, and organizing products
- Monitor and resolve issues in prescription fulfillment, including insurance claims and inventory management
- Assist pharmacists in the prescription fulfillment process and processing third-party insurance claims
- Provide patient service by assisting with prescription orders, resolving member concerns, and promoting products
- Enter prescription data accurately into pharmacy software and maintain patient records
- Fill prescriptions by measuring, counting, labeling medications, and operating dispensing equipment
